Amazing photography from the talented Paul Robert Berman.
Molly and Brendan’s warm, heartfelt Cape Cod wedding was so special. It was so much fun to be a part of their Labor Day Weekend celebration! Amazing photography from the talented Paul Robert Berman. Family was at the center of Molly and Brendan’s wedding, which is why the Overbrook House cobblestone was the perfect location for them. The charming 8-bedroom house and sprawling property was buzzing when we got there; several generations were busy getting ready for the Big Day. In a quiet nook upstairs, Molly, wearing Jenny Yoo for BHLDN, and her girl squad got the glam treatment. Meanwhile, we prepped 3 distinct locations, setting out small, fun details like individual fern escort cards, and milk jars filled with baby’s breath from KJ Floral Designs. Before the ceremony, Molly walked down a winding path to a footbridge, where she met Brendan for their breathtaking first look. Among the fairylights and greenery they posed for stunning photos as guests arrived to the property. Their ceremony took place on the lawn near the house as the sun filtered through the trees. It could not have been a more perfect summer day for their emotional yet lighthearted ceremony. Next guests filtered down stone steps to a clearing for the cocktail hour and reception. B&M Clambake and Premier Bartending served summery BBQ fresh from the grill and refreshing drinks. After heartfelt toasts from the couple’s friends and family, the sun set and it was time to hand out flashlights to walk to our next destination - the Dance Hall! Back down the path, and over the bridge, DJ Carl Stenzel was ready to turn the cabin into party central! For those who needed a break from dancing, the patio offered a cozy area for guests to write notes for the quilt guest book or enjoy donuts from Blackbird Donuts and assorted desserts from Flour. What a way to close out the summer! It was gorgeous Cape Cod wedding, that reminded us why we’re so lucky to be in New England. Thanks so much for sharing your special day with us Molly and Brendan!
