Sarah, a Boston native, has been planning events of all sizes for nearly 20 years. Her background in planning events started in the nonprofit industry in 2004, when she was responsible for coordinating the annual Shake it for Shelter fundraising event at COMPASS for Kids for several years. At Cradles to Crayons, Sarah oversaw all of the organization's signature events, including the 700-person annual Backpack-a-thon and the largest fundraiser of the year, the "Un-Gala". Sarah also worked at Facing History and Ourselves, where she planned their annual 900-person benefit dinner and advised their ten company offices on event strategy and execution.
Sarah is proud to serve as a founding board member of the Andrew Graham Semper Fi Fund, overseeing the event planning their annual fundraiser, the Boston River Run, which raises more than $20,000 each year.
Sarah's newest venture is an event space that she launched called Olio. Since founding Without A Hitch in 2013, Sarah has worked with more than 400 celebrants and their families. Her energy and enthusiasm are matched only by her love of logistics, teamwork, and day-of event coordination.
Ashley Allen, Events Associate
Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Event Management from Lasell University. Her work has varied over the years within event management for different industries including hotels, nonprofits, and start ups. Ashley has always had a passion for weddings and helping others; she is eager to be a part of making your day one to remember. Ashley will do everything in her power to help keep you calm, happy, and organized so that you can enjoy every second of your special day!
Allison Likaj, Events Associate
Allison joined Without A Hitch with an extensive hospitality and event management background, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Endicott College. After working as the Seasonal Operations Assistant at Misselwood Events, where she acted as a Function Manager for various events and many weddings, she returned to get her MBA from Endicott. Allison went on to work at the Seaport Hotel and former World Trade Center for 5 years, starting off in food and beverage and then becoming a banquet manager. Allison is now the department head of banquets at The 'Quin House, an elite private social club in Boston. She has completed numerous jobs in various aspects of the hospitality industry, though her particular passion has always been weddings. Through her organizational skills, limitless enthusiasm, attention to detail and drive to comfort and please, Allison will make your dream day a reality.
Ashley Caunter, Events Associate
Ashley is excited to bring her passion for weddings to the team. She has accumulated years of experience in event planning through work on political campaigns, conventions, student affairs, and government affairs. She prides herself on her attention to detail, communication and organizational skills, and ability to make quick decisions under pressure to tackle any challenge on behalf of clients. Her favorite event she planned was her own wedding and she is focused on ensuring that each wedding is just as special.
Lexi Johnson, Events Associate
Lexi is excited to be joining the team and brings years of hospitality and event experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Hospitality and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Endicott College, where she worked as an Events Assistant at Misselwood Events. Lexi moved to Orlando, Florida where she worked events at The Ritz Carlton, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, and the Gaylord Palms Resort. Back in Massachusetts and in the Cape Cod area, Lexi spent some time working at Chatham Bars Inn and now enjoys her newest venture in retail. For the last 7 years, Lexi has truly loved being able to bring a client's event dreams to life and she is thrilled to be able to continue this with the Without a Hitch Team!
Molly McKitrick, Events Associate
Molly loves helping couples make their special day go as smoothly as possible. Molly is a licensed therapist with a private practice, and has always had a passion for event planning and for wedding coordination. Molly has extensive experience with helping friends plan and coordinate their weddings, and looks forward to incorporating her therapeutic background with her organizational knowledge to help our couples have an amazing wedding day.
Tracey Rezendes, Events Associate
Tracey brings nearly two decades of experience to Without A Hitch. She has coordinated countless weddings at venues across New England including The Charles Hotel and The Country Club. She is a wife and mother of two gorgeous girls who love watching Say Yes to the Dress. Tracey is passionate about creating wedding days that are perfectly executed and effortlessly enjoyable.
