In this post we'll take you through our top websites for wedding inspiration. Happy Browsing! Style Me Pretty Style Me Pretty is a Boston-based website specializing in DIY weddings. With information on vendors around the world, pictures and details of recent weddings and even a page dedicated to DIY projects, this website is perfect for the hands-on bride and groom. BuzzFeed If you aren't familiar with this site, BuzzFeed features posts with recent viral content. The site is extremely user-friendly with it's use of memes, pictures, and videos to tell updates to recent pop-culture, sports and even political news. Users can spend hours on the site looking through endless posts, which is how we discovered BuzzFeed's numerous posts on DIY wedding. This recent post, for example, features 44 Loveliest Lavender Wedding Details. The Knot The Knot is a perfect "do-all" website for a DIY bride. The site features interactive tools and resources for all aspects of planning a wedding. From preparing a budget to finding a perfect dress, this site has it all. Our favorite part is The Wedding Shop, where brides can order customized invitations, gifts, and favors at a low price.  Our favorite guide to DIY weddings is obvious- Pinterest! This is where we find the majority of our bridal inspiration for all facets of a wedding. Users are able to create different theme-based "Boards" with "Pins" (pictures) to collect their wedding ideas and projects. On our Pinterest page we have boards ranging from Save the Date ideas, to Decor designs to help our brides plan their weddings. Our favorite recent wedding post is a pin for gorgeous lighting from an outdoor wedding.

We recently blogged about Pinterest and how it has served as a great way for the hands-on bride to find sources of inspiration for her wedding at a low cost. We’ll take you through some of our favorite DIY wedding pins below, and remember to follow our own Pinterest page: Save the Date: This inexpensive (and recyclable) Save the Date card made with a brown card and twine "ties the knot" when fully opened. Bridesmaids: We love this bridesmaids photo with how the bride met each bridesmaid on chalkboards! Decor: Hang old string lights you have stored in your attic against a wall for added ambiance and romance. Bouquet: We love pastel bouquets with a touch of bling- it's easy to find sparkly pins or barrettes to add to the bouquet lying around your (or your mothers!) house.
