How to: Throw a Winter Wedding
Thinking about throwing a winter wedding? Winter can be the most romantic time for couples to exchange nuptials. While some couples shy away from the snow and cold temperatures, winter can provide a cozy and intimate atmosphere many brides and grooms crave. With the right details, you can turn a chilly environment into a wedding to remember!
While having a red and green themed wedding reflects the holiday season, incorporating neutral colors- whites, silvers, golds, nudes, etc., into your wedding is so glamourous and trendy. Use white poinsettias, silver sequin table-cloths or gold bridesmaid dresses to embrace the trend. If you want to add more color to your wedding, leafy green centerpieces can add a finishing touch on a neutral colored wedding.
Even if the weather outside is frightful, your wedding space doesn't have to be! Create a cozy environment using warm lighting, plenty of candles, and string lights for the perfect ambiance.
Your guests will appreciate being served warm and in-season food and beverages at your reception. Serve up a spiked hot cocoa or mulled wine as your signature drink, and warm butternut squash soup as an appetizer. Add a personalized touch to a hot drink with custom cup holders.
Don't be afraid of going into the cold to take pictures. Snow, ice and even rain can make your wedding photos even more spectacular (like these wedding photos!) than sunny spring day. With props like colorful mittens, boots, bright balloons, and fur coats, your winter wedding photos will be a great keepsake from your special day.

Add a POP of Color to your Wedding
At the end of every year, Pantone releases a Color of the Year for the upcoming year. What's the color of the year for 2014? Radiant Orchid! This elegant shade of purple is sure to add some flair to your wedding. Looking for ways to add other colors to your big day? Here we take you through some old and new ideas to adding a POP of color to your wedding!
Adding color into your makeup is a daring and appreciated move. One of our favorite bridal looks involves classic cat-eye eye liner, dark mascara, and a bold red lip!
Why use a muted flower color scheme when you can brighten up your wedding with colorful bouquets! Whether you incorporate red Roses, blue Hydrangeas, or radiant Orchids, your bridal party will certainly love to carry bright flowers down the aisle, and your guests will appreciate the color!
Wearing colorful shoes underneath your wedding dress is a fun and subtle way to incorporate color into your look! We love when brides wear blue (for your something blue!) or even pink shoes underneath a long wedding dress. A "shoe reveal" also makes for a great photo op!

The latest wedding trend is signature beverage. Whether it's the couples favorite beverage, a seasonal treat, or a concoction that matches the color theme, it's fun to have a tasty cocktail for your guests to sip on! Some of our favorite drinks include a Romance Cocktail, a Sorbet Spritz and a Something Blue cocktail.
Fun Party Favors
What better way for your guests to remember your wedding than with a fun party favor to take home forever! Guests who are sick of receiving personalized wedding candies will rejoice at your fun party favors. "50 Fab Favours for Your Wedding Day" suggests couples should give personalized beer coozies, lip balm, or bubbles out to your guests
Capture Wedding Memories
One of our brides had a photo-booth at her wedding, and everyone thought it was so much fun! The bride and groom were able to de-stress and take silly pictures and their guests were able to take home fun photos to remember the wedding by. Another fun idea is to have disposable cameras on every table for the guests to use and then you'll be able to see the perspectives of your special day from all your guests!
