Lauren and Ben’s sweet and sophisticated wedding celebration took place on a perfect September day at Warehouse XI in the heart Somerville’s Union Square.

The morning began early for Lauren and her bridal party of three friends as they had their hair and makeup done by Alexa from ZenaRose in a light-filled Air BnB. The women each wore long black dresses of their choosing, a beautiful contrast to Lauren’s stunning Sarah Seven lace gown. Meanwhile, the men spent the morning at Lauren and Ben’s apartment, preparing for the day ahead.
Shortly before the ceremony, Lauren and Ben shared their first look in the park adjacent to Warehouse XI. They exchanged an intimate moment full of meaningful words and joyous smiles.
Guests found themselves arriving in the midst of the annual Fluff Festival. They all walked through the crowds in their cocktail attire, most of them laughing and enjoying the hustle and bustle filling the sidewalks. Some guests even chose to make a pit stop in the festival and grab a fluff-inspired snack to tide them over through the ceremony.
Shortly before the ceremony, Lauren and Ben shared their first look in the park adjacent to Warehouse XI. They exchanged an intimate moment full of meaningful words and joyous smiles.

Hiding away in the next door restaurant Field & Vine, the bridal party had a few quiet moments to themselves before the day’s celebrations truly began.
Filling the room at Warehouse XI, the guests stood shoulder to shoulder and observed a ceremony full of both laughter and tears.
A delicate archway with florals from the florist at Wellesley’s Whole Foods framed the couple throughout the entire ceremony.
Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour complete with delicious appetizers from Stoked Pizza Co, music by Tim at Beat Train Productions, and a Polaroid camera for spontaneous photos to fill the guest book with. They even could opt in to a game of cornhole if they wanted a little competition.
Warehouse XI glowed in the early evening as guests began to sit for the reception. Twinkle lights were draped throughout the room, a hand-made tapestry of shimmering paper cones hung from the main wall to create a charming backdrop and florals in mason jars lined the table in abundance. Gold details adorned the space, tying everything together.

As Stoked served pizza after pizza to the room, guests listened to toasts from three special people from Lauren and Ben’s lives. Brian Cullen, Gordon Streeter (the best man), and Nicole Sklar (the maid of honor) each spoke to the crowd sharing memories and jokes about the couple.
Following the toasts, Lauren and Ben shared their first dance to the “Dark Side of the Gym” by The National. They were quickly thereafter joined by all of their guests who rocked the dance floor throughout the entire evening only stopping for an occasional donut from Union Square Donuts.
