On November 9th, we had the honor of providing in-kind support for the Boston River Run. All proceeds from the event benefited the Andrew Graham Semper Fi Fund, where our founder Sarah serves on the Board of Directors. The run was founded by the friends and family of Corporal Andrew Graham Narcus to endow an annual scholarship for a student at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. This year's race hosted more than 700 runners and several hundred volunteers and spectators. The course along the Charles River was flat, safe, and family-friendly, and the race included prizes for top finishers and age group categories, and raffle prizes for spectators and runners. Without A Hitch had a fabulous time participating in the event. While Sarah was busy executing the coordination, timeline, and details of the event, sponsors, vendors, and runners, Nicole ran our table, and spoke to many participants and Without A Hitch supporters. The race was extremely successful in not only meeting but beating the fundraising goal of $25,000! The day was an inspiring community event, that we were honored to participate in. Hope to see you out there next year! Thanks to Drone by the Hour, Rachel Crowley and Hi Standards Photography for the images!

Bar/Bat Mitzvah season is in full swing and our first Bat Mitzvah of the season was one to talk about. Naomi’s Bat Mitzvah was held at the beautiful Andover Newton Theological School campus in Newton with fabulous vendors - officiant Sandy Freedman, photographer Lovely Valentine, Siagel Productions, Illisa Balloon Décor, and Cody Floral Designs. The celebration started with a traditional Bat Mitzvah ceremony in the Wilson Chapel on the school campus. The celebration then moved into Noyes Hall- a gorgeous banquet hall on campus with high ceilings, decorated with everything blue and world cup themed, in honor of Naomi’s favorite things. The room was set up with a photo booth courtesy of Lovely Valentine; a dancer, a DJ booth, and uplighting courtesy of Siagel Productions; candles everywhere; and other great touches courtesy of Naomi - we especially loved her Bat Mitzvah project, where she helped at a local food pantry for people in-need. Before dinner was served, DJ TJ from Siagel Productions pumped up guests with games, and dancing to remember! After dinner was served buffet style courtesy of the school’s catering department, guests were entertained by Naomi’s emotional and inspiring candle lighting ceremony. As the night continued on, everyone danced the night away! Each guest left with a personalized hoodie sweatshirt, and memories to last a lifetime. Congratulations Naomi!
