Guests took their seats after cocktail hour to find beautiful centerpieces designed and built by Matt’s mom, as well as candy favors at each of their seats. DJ Spindler from Siagel Productions got the room pumped up and then the parents, bridal party, and grooms were introduced onto the dance floor. Matt and Sam shared a first official dance as husbands to “XO” by Beyonce, covered by Anna Elizabeth Laube. This was followed by one of our favorite traditions: the mother/son dance (times two!) where both of the grooms danced with their moms to “Child of Mine” by Carole King.
We just had to do a feature on Matt & Sam’s wedding because they were the sweetest couple and had the most adorable details. They got hitched at the Dante Alighieri Society in Cambridge on a beautiful summer day. Photos below are all courtesy of the talented Leise Jones! Sam and Matt started their wedding day getting dressed and ready to go at the Residence Inn Boston Cambridge. They met up with Leise before the ceremony to take some adorable couple and family shots. In the meantime, we were hard at work in partnership with many folks at the Dante Alighieri to get everything set up. Matt and Sam and their families arrived in perfect timing to start the ceremony at 5:30pm as guests gathered around. Each of the grooms walked in with his mother and then the sweet ceremony brought everyone together. As guests left the ceremony to move into the hall for cocktail hour, they were greeted by the beautiful setup that Matt and Sam had been planning for months. Guests found their escort cards and the guestbook in the foyer and then were served food from Redbones BBQ inside. Extra staffing for top-notch service was provided by At Your Service. Cute flowers were done by Evans Flowers, a Northshore shop that Matt’s mom uses often. One of the most jaw-dropping sights was the dessert display. Sweet Spot Bakery had dropped off an amazing variety of items and guests could barely contain their excitement. Rentals were provided by PEAK. Guests enjoyed the BBQ buffet before toasts began. We got to hear from many of the grooms' friends before the two of them cut the cake and everyone could hit the dance floor. The guests and couple danced the night away. What a special celebration that we were so honored to be a part of. Congrats Matt and Sam!!
