When we purchased a new home and moved in last month, I was so excited for many things: fixing up the house, painting the walls, bringing in new furniture that I had been putting off purchasing all of the years that we were renting. What I didn’t anticipate was a few small changes that I could make on my own that would make a HUGE impact on the look and feel of the home and my office. The biggest one by far, was lighting. I started to change out the old/boring fixtures that were in my home and I could see that it changed the look and feel of the entire room.
The bedroom is slowly getting new furniture and a coat of paint, but I knew that I could take care of the lighting right away. Just one problem: there was no overhead fixture in that room! It arrived quickly and not only does it look great in the space, but it was super easy to set up. Even me, with my non-electrician skills, was able to hang and plug it in. It definitely makes the space!
