Enter KT, her pup Rex, a condo in Roslindale, and an engagement. It was especially fun to work on this one together not just because of the personal connection, but also because of Becky’s professional work in events and her incredible attention to every detail. Their day of timeline is no less than 8 pages long (which may be a record for us) and the day itself was organized and heartfelt.
The story of their special day, shared below, with photos courtesy of the insanely talented Analog Photo.
After we unloaded KT’s car the venue (she brilliantly brought a cart to make it super easy), Becky arrived in style in a limo from ATR and met KT for a “first look” and lots of great photos. KT's boutonniere, Becky's hairpiece, and the flower girl's crown were handmade by the brides themselves - so pretty!
After the end of the ceremony, and an uplifting recessional song to “Natalie Cole – This Will Be,” guests were ready to mix and mingle for cocktail hour, featuring yummy appetizers and sparkling mimosas. The brides took a few more photos outdoors before joining their guests.
On each table in the Jackson Room were bright, pretty sunflowers. Perfect for a sunny brunch wedding. Each table also had a container of legos and jenga for guests to play but the cutest part was the table numbers: photos of Rex in little frames!
A few speeches rounded out the lunchtime. Both Becky and KT’s sisters spoke, followed by friends of the couple Sandra and Maren. KT and Becky also stood up to say a big thank you to all of the guests for being a part of their day. The brides actually had two cakes: one was baked by Cuisine Chez Vous and the other, smaller cake was gluten-free and baked by their friend Maddy. Both were delicious!
Congratulations to these two lovebirds from Without A Hitch. We are so happy for you!
