Kathy and Bob celebrated their wedding on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which meant that they were able to fill the room with family, friends, and loved ones. The wedding flowed beautifully; of course, it didn't hurt that there was a fabulous vendor and family team behind making the whole day possible. Check out the summary of the day below, with photos from Erik at Eskedal Expressions. The day started with getting ready at home and the bride's hair and makeup were completed by stylist Marina Melnikova. The celebration kicked off in earnest when the bride and groom arrived at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation for photos. Because Kathy and Bob each each have two daughters, and each of their daughters has a significant other, it was a whole family affair. Kathy's sister joined in the group photos too before everyone headed upstairs for a toast before the ceremony started. Crowds of guests gathered around as their officiant, Beth, led a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony that felt so personal to Kathy and Bob. Processional and recessional music was provided by Kiyoshi Hayashi from the New England Conservatory on violin. The bride and groom shared the moment with their daughters, including readings from a few of the girls. After the vows were sealed with a kiss, cocktail hour began with food from caterer Cuisine Chez Vous. While guests enjoyed food and beverages downstairs, we put the final touches on the Jackson Room upstairs to prepare for the main reception. Floral centerpieces were done through Cuisine Chez Vous, as were the beautiful linens and furniture layout for the space. Guests filed upstairs to see the space and, once everyone was inside, the bride and grooms' families were introduced into the reception, followed by Kathy and Bob themselves. Before dinner could start, there were toasts from the groom's brother, the brother and sister of the bride, the daughters of the groom, and the daughters of the bride. Dinner was served buffet-style while Kathy and Bob visited with their guests, and then they cut the beautiful cake. The dance floor opened with tunes from Beat Train DJ Nick Ferrington who filled the dance floor and kept it filled all night long. Guests danced the night away and Kathy and Bob basked in the glow of their new marriage with their closest family and friends. Congratulations you two!
